In honor of
Beaver Mountain Ski Resort’s 75th Anniversary, season passes for the
2014-2015 season are on sale through April 15.
“Season passes
purchased for next season can be used the rest of this season and all of next
season,” said Cindy Allen, the office manager at Beaver Mountain.
According to
Susie English, the director of communications at Ski Utah, Beaver Mountain is
one of five Utah resorts that offer an early season pass. Only two days remain
to ski the 2013-2014 season on a 2014-2015 season pass.
“Beaver
Mountain’s closing day is scheduled for April 6, but that shouldn’t stop anyone
from purchasing a pass now,” Allen said. “This is the time to buy the
best-priced tickets.”
Season passes
sold through April 15 will be $325 for adults. After April 15, the prices will
continue to rise. By October, season passes for adults will cost $535.
“People sure
jump to buy these passes,” said Marge Seeholzer, a co-owner of the resort.
Parker Greer, a
resident of Logan, is already enjoying the season pass he bought last weekend
at the Beaver Bash.
“I’ve already
used it once,” Greer said. “And I plan on using it two more times before this
season ends.”
Proceeds of the
early season pass will go toward making improvements for next season.
“We hope to have
new and fun things for our 75th Anniversary,” Seeholzer said. “We
need to have money upfront in order to make those improvements.”
Officials said
they are not releasing what improvements they plan on doing at
this time.
